funky DIY mini Green House

This is my funky mini greenhouse made out of PVC pipe odds and ends that were lying around and I used a roll of PVC tape that I found on the side of the road, free copper wire and two shower curtains. The whole unit can be lifted up easily and it wont collapse and plants are accessible through the front flap that's weighted by small sticks taped in to the edge to keep the flap from flapping open on windy days. This little unit has Basil,Sweet Banana peppers, and Snap peas which unfortunately are dying out. Growing plants to eat is so fun and fulfilling I love it I want to start canning someday soon (I am such a pioneer woman wannabe). We scored and have gotten the materials to make a larger greenhouse from a friend who is updating theirs so we can expand the food experiment. Sounds like the next project on the craft list. Love to all you gardeners out there keep sowing the seeds of love!

my main battles are snails , fog and caterpillars

Bloomin' buds of fall

I just took these this morning and there doesn't seem to be a shortage of bee's in my garden , they are buzzin' around my lavender and have made a home for themselves in the stump of an old tree . Aside from the lavender which I purchased at my local non chain nursery I grew the other flowers ( Borage , Calendula and the Evening Primrose ) from seed thanks to my lovely phyte-o-phile friend .

psychic mail moments

psychic cheese moments.yes I said it was a psychic cheese moment.let me start at the very beginning.

As soon as I opened the door I knew it was going to be a special day , a day that I wouldn't forget .

No . I am lying . I opened the door , looked down and there was a package . It was from my sister in law ( who has a history of mailing gag gifts ) mmm curious I picked it up and it was quite hefty I carried it into the house and upon descending the stairs I looked down at the postage and it said $12 and some odd change and I thought "I hope Minnie didnt spend 12$ just to mail us nacho cheese"

well 23 skidoo I was right , I busted open the package only to reveal a bag of liquid nacho cheese weighing 6.7 lbs.

I shock even myself . hardy har .

PEACE AND LOVE FROM THE NETWORK

p.s. I always had a "feeling" that my BUST magazine would come today and there it was sitting in my mailbox . praise discordia !
what the fuck am I gonna do with all this cheese?

pulp fiction

I recently found out that pulp fiction was named so because it is made from crappy leftover wood pulp which made the novels cheap so they spread to a wider audience (consisting of high class dames to lower class laundry maidens like myself)

I picked up these two pulp novels (at the last independently owned bookstore in town) and devoured them in a day,the smell, the language,it was like stepping into a time machine a very sexist, racist time machine.I don't find it offensive its quite laughable actually it almost makes you feel like a archeologist discovering an old creepy male chauvinistic/ homophobic world. The fact that publishers back in the day wouldn't allow gay couples happy endings is so fucked up and tragic. These two novels above portrayed very strong female main characters that were willing to do anything to survive but they were both fucked over in the end by love.oops.oh they are so twisted, but I love them so!and the smell,oh how I love the smell of pulpy pages in the afternoon!
