psychic mail moments

psychic cheese moments.yes I said it was a psychic cheese moment.let me start at the very beginning.

As soon as I opened the door I knew it was going to be a special day , a day that I wouldn't forget .

No . I am lying . I opened the door , looked down and there was a package . It was from my sister in law ( who has a history of mailing gag gifts ) mmm curious I picked it up and it was quite hefty I carried it into the house and upon descending the stairs I looked down at the postage and it said $12 and some odd change and I thought "I hope Minnie didnt spend 12$ just to mail us nacho cheese"

well 23 skidoo I was right , I busted open the package only to reveal a bag of liquid nacho cheese weighing 6.7 lbs.

I shock even myself . hardy har .

PEACE AND LOVE FROM THE NETWORK

p.s. I always had a "feeling" that my BUST magazine would come today and there it was sitting in my mailbox . praise discordia !
what the fuck am I gonna do with all this cheese?

pulp fiction

I recently found out that pulp fiction was named so because it is made from crappy leftover wood pulp which made the novels cheap so they spread to a wider audience (consisting of high class dames to lower class laundry maidens like myself)

I picked up these two pulp novels (at the last independently owned bookstore in town) and devoured them in a day,the smell, the language,it was like stepping into a time machine a very sexist, racist time machine.I don't find it offensive its quite laughable actually it almost makes you feel like a archeologist discovering an old creepy male chauvinistic/ homophobic world. The fact that publishers back in the day wouldn't allow gay couples happy endings is so fucked up and tragic. These two novels above portrayed very strong female main characters that were willing to do anything to survive but they were both fucked over in the end by love.oops.oh they are so twisted, but I love them so!and the smell,oh how I love the smell of pulpy pages in the afternoon!

private outdoor BATHtub DIY style

This was a dream come true , I drew a fantasy outdoor bathtub structure and here it is thanks to my beautiful and brilliant husband who helped me make my fantasy a reality from all the wood and such scraps we had lying around . Its Fun Functional and Funky the 3 most important F's . I even made some fun stencils and couldn't resist tagging it up a little . I am just waiting on the propane which is being delivered shortly , bath time here I come !

Pulp me

 I remember being a kid and going to the library and discovering the book carousel of YA novels . I thought I had died and gone to heaven all of these juicy tales of haunted boarding schools , out of body experiences , maybe a lesbian crush or two , incest and maybe a murder . I could not get enough of Lois Duncan her novels transported me to spooky unseen shores she was the stepping stone to my future love of Stephen King and Angela Carter . The book cover art alone could send me into hours of daydreaming staring at every detail between devouring pages . These pulpy teen novels in my opinion are far superior to the current teen reads . The female characters that I read about were strong and empowered not weak in the knees for some dorky vampire dud . Maybe I am biased and gotten to that point in my life where I start saying " in my day we had better female role models than lady gaga we had Bikini kill and we liked it that way " . Either way I attribute my fascination to the occult , shamanism , meditation , and the paranormal on these early reads they forced my young brain open and I can say I think I am a healthier happier person believing in the possibilities of anything than fearing everything . With openness comes understanding , empathy and love and that is what I want to put out into the world . I love you all , peace out !Read some PULP ! it does a body good .

Embroidery bonanza !

I have been bitten by the embroidery bug and have pimped out a couple of my well worn shirts . I used a iron on pattern for the headphones and the fox but I freestyled the rest . When I was through with my shirts I attacked an old faded purse that I made about 10 years ago and now it is bright and rejuvenated ! In this shit - town economy when you can't afford to spend money on new clothes I thank my lucky stars that I am clever .

I have been putting my triangle tea bag on everything its my newest addition to my personal symbology , plus I love PG tips tea which comes in a pyramid bag . And I added some Black Flag bars because I admire Henry Rollins he is one of my favorite people to listen to , I could sit and listen to him drone on forever . and well the 23 because of Robert Anton Wilson .

I had to include a picture of my cluttered coffee / craft table I am obsessed with inanimate objects thanks to Tom Robbins Skinny legs and All . And last but not least the rainbow of embroidery thread that entranced me with their bright splendor . Craft on ! Peace out !
