Patching up an old patchwork star quilt
still carvin' it up!
I have carved a few more stamps to match my turkish inspired blocks , I have yet to lay them down on fabric but that day will come soon enough.I am taking it slow and steady , mentally laying out my next pattern.Who knows what I will come up with next , oh open possibilities.

fabulous feathery leaves
The stamps I carved created a wonderful round pattern , it almost reminds me of a Hawaiian quilt designs the way that the leaves create a patch pattern like an old fashioned quilt.I want to create blankets that are simple and beautiful with that handmade one of kind quality that will last for generations.
i just keep printing and i cant stop!
My indoor close line is brightening up the corner of my living room / art studio / parlor / library
I thought I had completed these two panels in red , but I had some great input from a friend and went back in with a couple of orange tones , and I might even add more yellow.

block printing and hanging out to dry
I thought I was done but decided to add some yellow accents , doesnt it look smashing!
project fabric design underway
I took my first baby steps today and started handprinting on fabric with stamps I carved with my very own paws. Of course my measurements are haphazard ,with wonky lines that I improvised with yarn bits ,its imperfections adds to the handmade element right? Now that I have printed my design in red I am waiting for it to dry so I can go back over parts of it with black , creating a super groovy 3D looking overlap .Then the next step is to figure out what pattern I want to create with the black .I am so excited! This project is turning out so cool and fun to do.I have a feeling this is only the beginning of my fabric printing obsession.

brain storming
I am going to try to print on cotton material . If it works
out I want to make quilts out of the material . I am half
way done with the block design duo so we shall see how well it all works out .

I'm an art addict
so easy to carve its like
cutting through butta'!
And with a variety of
printing inks you can
overlap and double
print to create depth
and create highlights
My newest curiosity
is block printing on
fabric
